A vacation at August Sun includes access to the community pool, tennis courts, and a pass for up to 6 anglers at a time to the Rodanthe pier.
The first floor has 3 ample-sized bedrooms, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. A queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twin beds share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The other bedroom is a queen master. The warm, bubbly hot tub is situated on the deck for this level, an excellent way to chill out anytime.
Upstairs is another beautiful queen bedroom, which shares a bathroom that also opens into the hallway. The spacious kitchen is a great place to whip up that seafood feast you’ve been dreaming of. With your tummies well-pleased, gather in the living room for some rejuvenating family time, or challenge each other to a game of bumper pool or poker around the dining room game table.
Looking out over a scenic man-made pond full of ducks, turtles, and other island wildlife, the upper level deck is an awesome spot to watch sunrises, sunsets, and shooting stars. Whether you’re looking for a home base for an activity-packed getaway or a peaceful slice of paradise for a relaxing retreat, August Sun is the place to be - all summer long.

These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).
