Description: This classic Hatteras style beach cottage is located on a corner lot (one lot back), has an ocean view, and is just a hop, skip and a jump from the community ocean beach access. The main level deck off the living area wraps around 2 sides, is partially covered and provides both sun and shade. For a panoramic view of the ocean take the steps up to the sun deck with built-in seating.
Enter inside this cozy space from a covered porch and you will find wood paneled walls, stained trim and comfortable surroundings. The main level includes the kitchen, dining and laundry, and off this space is the central living area, which has a vaulted ceiling and access out to both the screened porch (with a picnic table for outside dining), and the deck areas. Also on this level are the queen master bedroom with a TV and private bath, and the bedroom with 2 single beds, plus a full bath.
The top level is reminiscent of a loft-style bedroom (with a door so that it can be closed off for privacy) and has 2 single beds.
The under-house area has an enclosed outside shower with dressing room, picnic table, shade for your pet, and space to store your gear. There is also an adjacent charcoal grill and a lighted fish-cleaning table.
Wireless Internet access (computer not provided, bring your laptop).
For 2014 Lyin in the Sun will continue to be pet friendly but will permit dogs only.
