Description: Unwind and relax at this comfortable cottage in Salvo. One lot back from the oceanfront and set back off the main highway, The Patterson is a secluded retreat you are sure to love. Relax on the spacious decks, the perfect place to hang out any time of day. Pets are permitted in this home, as well (dogs only, please).
The first level has 4 bedrooms. 2 queen bedrooms, one with a TV and DVD player, each have sliders onto the shaded lower level deck and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. A bedroom with 2 twin beds and a bedroom with 2 bunk bed sets share a full bathroom off the hall.
Upstairs is the wide-open living, dining, and kitchen area. Relax and watch a favorite movie on the TV with DVD player. Step out onto the sundeck to sip your morning coffee while you watch the sunrise. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and an additional small table, perfect for a game of cards or romantic dinner for two. A half bathroom is also on this level.
Take a short walk over the dunes to the beach for some fun in the sun. Look out over the water to see a part of the wreck of the steamer Richmond, one of many ships the infamous Graveyard of the Atlantic has claimed. Ideally situated no matter what Hatteras Island vacation adventure you seek, The Patterson will quickly become your home-away-from-home.
