Description: Recover from the stress of the real world at this beautiful home in the Mirlo Beach subdivision. Sound of Mind borders the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge and offers ocean and sound views that will take your breath away.
Shoot a game of pool in the first floor game room, which also has a TV, DVD player, and mini-fridge. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, which share a bathroom off the hall with a shower only. A bedroom with 2 twin beds and one with a pyramid bunk bed are perfect for the younger kids, while a queen bedroom boasts a sound view. All bedrooms on this level and throughout the house have TVs.
The middle floor is the main living level of this home, with a comfortably furnished living room with TV and DVD player as well as a dining room and kitchen that feature fantastic sound views. Step out onto the shaded wrap-around deck on this level to bask in the balmy breeze, or enjoy some time on the sundeck or in the hot tub. A full bathroom in the hallway serves this level. A spacious queen bedroom is the perfect retreat at the end of a long day.
Upstairs are 2 king master bedrooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub. These large rooms both have views of the sound and out over the wildlife refuge. One has an ocean view.
Spend your days lounging by the private pool or head out to any number of exciting activities. The community sound access is nearby for windsurfing, kayaking, or kiting, and you have access to community tennis courts as well. The beach is just a short walk away via the subdivision beach access. You are also ideally located to take an exciting day trip either north or south to experience many Outer Banks attractions.

These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold Linens - Peak/In/Mid Seasons properties provide sheets during the Peak/In/Mid seasons for all beds and towels (set includes 1 bath towel, 1 washcloth & 1 hand towel) for the maximum occupancy of the home. Beds are made on check-in day. No sheets or towels are provided for Mini-Vacations. Sheets will be provided for top bunks, sofa beds, trundles and futons, but these beds will not be made.
