Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 26, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Located in the SummerPlace community of Hatteras Village, Windjammer, a well-kept, pet-friendly home is nicely situated on a corner lot and is just one lot back from the oceanfront.
Covered parking and a dry entry make your stay a cinch from the moment you arrive. The ground level game room with pool table and TV features a wet bar with mini-fridge and a stereo. A pyramid bunk bedroom on this level shares a semi-private full bath with the game room. All bedrooms throughout the house have TVs.
One king en suite, one queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two bunk sets are on the middle level, along with a full bathroom off the hall. At the end of the hall is the convenient laundry area and a door to the covered deck, which is where the hot tub is located overlooking the pool area.
An additional king en suite bedroom on the top level boasts horizon ocean views. Come together in the open living, dining, and kitchen area with breakfast bar for family feasts and catching up on good times. Enjoy a picnic lunch to the music of the ocean on the covered deck off the dining area, or step out onto the sundeck to take in the salt breeze. A half bathroom completes this level.
Hit the pool (with heat available) for some fun in the sun, or take the short stroll to the nearby beach via the community boardwalk for surfing, fishing, or working on your tan. Public sound access for kayaking, crabbing, and kiteboarding is just a short drive away between Hatteras Village and Frisco. Whether you’re looking for art galleries and boutique shopping, world-class charter fishing, or fine dining to please any picky palate, a quick drive or bike ride further into Hatteras Village is sure to meet your needs.
