Lived on Hatteras Island Since: Moved here in 2001 with my husband and two children, but have vacationed here for 10 years.

Favorite Local Restaurant: Sandbar & Grill and Hodad's are great casual places. Breakfast is always the Orange Blossom.

How I spend my free time: Favorite outdoor activity is walking on the beach with my kids and dogs. You never know what you can find. Favorite indoor activities are Scrapbooking, reading and of course, Jazzercise.

Why Hatteras is a good investment: Great unspoiled beaches and plenty to do make vacation rentals a great investment.
