Lived on Hatteras Island Since: I've lived on the Outer Banks for a total of 21 years. For the past 15 years I've lived on Hatteras Island.

Favorite Recording Artist: I don't really have a favorite. I enjoy listening to all different types of music, from Rascal Flats to Diana Krall.

How I spend my free time: What's free time? When I have it, I love to spend it with my family and friends boating or at the beach. I also love walking on the beach, clamming, excercising and, of course, my dog.

Why Hatteras is a good investment: Hatteras Island is truly unique. This uniqueness allows the investor to capitalize on an ever-growing rental market as well as offering a high rate of return, with 85% of Hatteras Island being owned by the federal government. Hatteras Island is indeed a wise investment.

Why I love my job:The people. I'm a firm believer in "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This has served me well, as I have never met a client I didn't enjoy working with.
