Description

Escape from the real world in this custom-built canalfront home featuring beautiful sound views. Counting Pelicans is the relaxing getaway you’ve been looking for.

Four comfortable bedrooms on the lower level, each with TV provide plenty of room for your whole family. The king master suite with deck access and computer desk features a huge walk-in closet, along with luxurious his-and-her adjoined bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub and the other with a TV and a custom tiled shower.  A second king bedroom and a bedroom with a daybed and a trundle share a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom. A queen bedroom overlooks the quiet canal and shares a full bathroom off the hallway.

Upstairs is the spacious living area with canal and sound views as well as cozy fireplace to warm your heart on cool off-season evenings. An adjacent office area with computer desk opens onto the sundeck where you can enjoy sunset views and the salt air. The open kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar and gas stove is on the other side of the living area. A half bathroom is also on this level.

Shoot some pool in the ground-level game room with wet bar and dual TVs, accessible via its own entrance under the house. A full refrigerator on the covered patio is perfect for poolside snacks. Step up onto the pool deck to work on your tan, take a dip in the custom private pool, or enjoy a cool drink at the cabana with TV. Your pups will enjoy supervised playtime in the fenced-in dog run. An additional half bathroom is located on the ground level as well, accessed through the large storage area adjacent to the game room.

Paddle your kayak around the canal, enjoy a seafood barbecue in the fenced-in backyard, or take a short stroll to the community sound access to launch your windsurfing or kite boarding gear, which you can keep in the large, enclosed storage room when not in use. The calm, shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound are ideal for kids and adults alike to enjoy a day on the water.
