From the moment you arrive you will notice conveniences to help make coming and going easy, complete with a cargo lift, dual covered carports for parking and space to store your gear, and a covered entry into the ground level of the home with stairs up to the first level.

This first level is where 3 bedrooms are located and all have direct access out to the front covered deck and include a king master bedroom with TV and private bath, a bedroom with a bunk set and a single bed, and a queen master bedroom with TV and private bath. The hallway also provides a cozy sitting area perfect for some quiet time. A spacious full bathroom and laundry area are also on this level.

The top level has a spacious king master bedroom with TV and access out to the sun deck. The open design of the kitchen, dining and living area provides space for everyone to gather. The kitchen has breakfast bar seating, the dining area with a large table with seating for 10, and the living room with ample comfortable seating and TV. A central slider door provides convenient access out to the sun deck perfect for catching some rays, while a second slider off the dining area opens to a furnished screened porch. When you’re ready for adventure, the ocean beach access is nearby, (four-wheel drive access ramp 38 is less than a mile away), or Canadian Hole (a short drive south) for access to the shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound and a watersport launch site, and a walk-over via a sand path to the beach.

Note: In the summer of 2022 the Avon and Buxton oceanfront will receive much needed beach nourishment. The Avon project begins 3,000 feet north of the Avon Pier at Due East Road to the southern boundary of Avon at the National Park Service line—approximately 2.5 miles of oceanfront.  The maintenance renourishment for Buxton includes 2.9 miles of shoreline from the Haulover Day Use Area north of Buxton to the oceanfront groin at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. You may experience some temporary construction noise, night illumination, and beach access diversions in the immediate vicinity of this rental for a short duration dependent upon changing project conditions.
