A full bathroom is off the hall, as well as the laundry area. Step out onto the wide shaded deck to take in a refreshing breeze.

Upstairs, cooking will be a breeze in the step-saver kitchen with an adjacent pantry featuring a second full-size refrigerator. Get in some quality family time in the airy living area with dual dining areas. The partially shaded deck offers the perfect perch for soaking up some sun or sipping sweet tea, with views of the nearby creek and the sound in the distance.

Head out to the ocean beach, just a short walk away, or explore local shops and restaurants with a walk or bike ride down the community pathway through the village of Avon. Spend your days on the water or take a quick drive to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse for a trip back in time or the nearby 4-wheel-drive beach access. Pets are welcome at this comfortable abode as well, so no one has to miss out on the adventure.

This home is on the soundside of Highway 12, so you would need to cross the highway (there is a crosswalk there for convenience), but yes you could walk to it.
