Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Description
Three oceanfront bedrooms on the first level each have TVs and access to the covered deck with bubbly hot tub, where you can soak your cares away while indulging in breathtaking ocean and lighthouse views or cozy up with a good book on the porch swing. The king bedroom has a shower stall in the private bath. A bedroom with two bunk sets and a bedroom with two single beds share a full bathroom off the hall. The laundry area is also on this level for added convenience.
An additional king bedroom on the second level also has a TV and opens onto a semi-private bath and has access to the oceanfront sundeck, complete with dolphin watch chairs, a bistro table and picnic table that seats eight. The open living, dining, and kitchen area with breakfast bar is full of natural, airy light from the ample windows. Cozy up in front of the electric fireplace on cool off-season evenings or step onto the sundeck for stunning sunrises and stargazing.
Steps from the lower-level deck lead directly to the freshly nourished and widened beach, where you can surf, swim, or soak up some sun to your heart’s content. Located a quick drive or bike ride from restaurants, shops, and the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Captain’s Cape Girl is ideally situated to provide the best in vacation fun for your whole family.
