Description
Spend your next Hatteras vacation On the Beach at this lovely oceanfront home. Two levels of spacious decks provide ocean views from both floors, and since pets are welcome at this well-maintained cottage, the whole family can enjoy a beach getaway.
Enter on the lower level where four comfortable bedrooms will give you much-needed rest after a full day of island adventures. Two queen bedrooms, one an en suite with TV, open onto the shaded oceanview deck. A bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with two bunk sets share a full bathroom off the hall. The laundry area is also on this level.
Upstairs is the open living, dining, and kitchen area with plenty of room to spread out with two seating areas, breakfast bar and wet bar, and a small bar-height table in addition to the ample-sized dining table. With ocean views from nearly every spot on this level, there is plenty to feast your eyes on. Step out onto the large sundeck to work on your tan or just watch the ocean and enjoy the breeze. A half bathroom is also on this level.
When you’re ready to get your toes in the water, the community beach access is directly adjacent to the house where a short sand path leads to a wooden boardwalk with stairs over the dunes. Head out for adventure with a charter fishing trip from the nearby marinas, or indulge in world-class dining at any of the area restaurants. Plenty of local shops and the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are also close at hand, along with the free ferry to Ocracoke Island for a fun day trip the whole family can enjoy.
