Description: Blowing Dogs off Chains, a Kiwi expression for a windy day, has been designed and built with the watersports enthusiast in mind. Soundfront in the exclusive Mirlo Beach subdivision, this well-appointed home on the sound is ideal for kiting, windsurfing, or kayaking. 2 kayaks are provided at the house for guest use, and a private boardwalk leads directly to the water so launching is a breeze.
The first floor has a game room with TV, pool table, and a full-sized refrigerator for all your snacking needs. A half bathroom is also on this level.
The second floor has 5 bedrooms, each tastefully decorated in its own theme and with a TV and DVD player. A pink flamingo queen master bedroom and an aquamarine master with 2 twins both have sliding doors to the shaded deck. A coral-themed 2-twin bedroom shares a full bathroom off the hall with a queen bedroom decorated in soothing blues, which features another slider to the deck. A second hall bathroom serves a playful yellow bedroom with 2 twin beds. The spacious soundview deck offers a relaxing hammock and a bubbly hot tub.
Upstairs is a palm-themed king master bedroom with TV and DVD player, Jacuzzi tub and slider onto the sundeck. The great room with vaulted ceilings is a wonderful place to watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV with DVD player, or check in with home on the PC with technical support via Silicon Travel. Cook and dine in style with beautiful granite countertops and tile floors in the kitchen and dining area. A sunroom with a cozy breakfast table can be closed off from the rest of the room. There is also a half bathroom on this level.
Step out onto the sunny furnished deck overlooking the sound. Soak up some rays or watch a breathtaking sunset from this vantage point. Nearby are community beach access and tennis courts, so there will be no shortage of fun in the sun while staying in this fantastic home. For the fisherman, a fish-cleaning table and charcoal grill are great for preparing the catch you’ve reeled in.

These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Beds are made on check-in day. No sheets or towels are provided for Mini-Vacations. Sheets will be provided for top bunks, sofa beds, trundles and futons, but these beds will not be made.
