This cozy single-level cottage is an ideal retreat for your family just one lot from the oceanfront. A short walk from restaurants, shops, and other activities, Duck Dog is a great place to start any Hatteras Island vacation adventure.
The open living and dining area is a welcoming gathering place for your whole group. A Pack-n-Play, high chair, and booster seat are provided for the little ones. The cute kitchen is the perfect place to fry, bake, or broil the catch of the day your anglers have brought in from the Rodanthe Fishing Pier. Duck Dog offers a pass for up to 6 members of your party to fish from the pier at a time – a fun experience for everyone.
Down the hall is a king en suite bedroom with TV, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two single beds. A full bath is located off the hall, along with the laundry area.. An additional bedroom located off the dining room has four single beds and a small sitting area with TV, as well as separate climate control – perfect for the kids who want space to call their own.
The upper level deck with captain’s chairs and gazebo and the lower shaded deck with chairs and picnic table both offer excellent ocean views. A shaded dog pen under the house will keep your pooch cool and comfortable. Relax in the hammock at the end of an exciting day. Duck Dog is the perfect home away from home for your Rodanthe vacation.
