2026 Lighthouse Local Artist Show Series

The Lighthouse Local Art Shows return for the 2026 season, offering the perfect excuse to make your way down to Hatteras Island.

Whether you’re a year-round resident or planning a spring getaway, this indoor art show series is a great way to experience the island’s creative community while staying comfortable, no matter the weather.

The season kicks off in April and runs through November. Monthly shows are Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 3 PM each day at the Family Life Center in Buxton (48733 NC Highway 12).

Browse a wide variety of original work from local artists and makers, and know that your visit supports more than just the arts. All artist booth fees and food sales directly benefit youth outreach programs on Hatteras Island.
