Celebrate the visual and performing arts on Hatteras Island June 6-7 with an art show, concert, and gallery tour during the 12th Annual Rock The Cape. The free, family-friendly event will begin on Thursday, June 6 with a full afternoon of art and live music from 2pm to 7pm on the lawn at Kitty Hawk Kites’ Waves Village Resort in Rodanthe.

Sponsored by the Hatteras Village Civic Association, the 33rd Annual Hatteras Village Christmas Parade is scheduled for December 14th, 2024 at 2pm. The island community is invited to line the streets of Hatteras Village along the parade route, which starts at Teach’s Lair Marina and goes down Highway 12 and back around Eagle Pass. Watch the floats and catch candy at this fun annual event that brings everyone out to celebrate. Santa’s arrival at the end rings in the Christmas season with plenty of holiday cheer to go around!

On the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, make the Hatteras Island Arts and Craft Holiday Artisan Show a stop on your post-Thanksgiving shopping list and support small and LOCAL businesses! This TWO-DAY EVENT is located at the Secondary School in Buxton on Hwy 12 on November 29th and 30th from 9am-3pm.
