Shuck Hatteras V Oyster Festival

Get ready for a full day of coastal fun at the Shuck Hatteras V Oyster Festival! This annual “shellabration” brings together fresh local flavor, live entertainment, and community spirit for a great cause. Enjoy live music from 1 to 10 pm, browse unique finds at the Shuck Town Artisan Vendor Market beginning at 1 pm, and watch local competitors put their culinary skills to the test during the Oyster Cook-Off Competition from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. The festivities also include delicious food, games, children’s activities, and fundraising raffles benefiting Chicamacomico Banks Fire & Rescue.

The highlight of the celebration is the highly anticipated All-You-Can-Eat Authentic Fire Pit Oyster Roast, beginning at 3 pm! While festival admission is free and open to the public, a separate ticket is required to enjoy the oyster feast. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 on the day of the event, with each ticket redeemable for one admission wristband.

The oyster roast takes place rain or shine in a heated, weatherproof tent, so the fun continues regardless of the forecast! Please note that all oyster roast ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.
