Fishy 5k sponsored by Hatteras United Methodist Church
The Fishy 5k will start and end at Hatteras United Methodist Church and loop through historic Hatteras Village. Runners and walkers of all skill levels welcome! Come enjoy a morning run and stay to enjoy the events of Day at the Docks, a celebration of the watermen heritage of Hatteras, NC. The Fishy 5k will begin at 8 am. Doors open at 7am - no registration after 7:45am.
Pushing strollers is ok, we just ask that you start at the back of the corral. Please no pets.
Costs: Prior to August 24, 2019, $30.00 for Fishy 5k. Entry fee includes a t-shirt and goody bag. All finishers of the Fishy 5k will receive a unique finisher medal! After August 24, 2019 $35.00 for Fishy 5k. There is no guarantee of a t-shirt for those that register after August 24th, although all effort will be made to provide t-shirts to all registrants. Registration can also be done weekdays in person at Hatteras United Methodist Church. Call Linda O'Neal at 252-986-2149 for more information.
Packets can be picked up at Hatteras United Methodist Church at the following times: Friday September 13th - 9 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. They can also be picked up the day of the race but we encourage folks to pick them up beforehand. Registration can occur at both events!
Non-refundable charity event. Race is rain or shine but will be canceled for safety reasons in the event of severe weather. Slower runners and walkers should start at the back of the corral. In the event of a cancellation, t-shirts will be given to those who registered for the race prior to August 24, 2019
