Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Boat Dock
We offer homes with both shallow water and deep water docks. We can also arrange dockage in a local marina. Please call our reservation department at 1-800-527-2903 to find the best fit for your boat.

Description
Batten down the hatches and get Anchored Down because the vacation of a lifetime is heading your way when you book your family vacation in this pet-friendly home on Hatteras Island! Move in is quick and easy with the cargo lift to transport luggage, groceries, and Fido's supplies right up to the correct level.
Enter on the first living level of this classic island saltbox, where you’ll find all four bedrooms and both full baths. With scenic views of the canal, two queen rooms share a Jack and Jill bath, each boasting their own access to the private shaded deck with hot tub. On the opposite side of the hall, you’ll find a room with a bunk set, another room with a pyramid bunk (single on top, double on bottom) and the final full bath. All bedrooms offer their own TV so no one has to miss out on their preferred programming. Behind sliding barn doors you’ll locate the easily accessible laundry area which completes this level.
Up the stairs on the top level is where the magic happens. Family time is a given in the open living, kitchen, and dining areas with dual sliders for a lovely view of the canal and access to the spacious sundeck. An added wet bar is the perfect place to pour a drink so you’re never too far from the family shenanigans nearby. After a long day in the sun, keep the good times going outside on the opposing shaded deck with sprawling views of community happenings. A convenient half bath can also be found on this level.
Time spent outside it just as fun when utilizing the provided boat dock. Spend days on the water fishing, crabbing, and clamming, or take a sunset cruise for photo-worthy moments that will create the perfect backdrop for your family vacation. Whether it’s adventure, a little R&R, or a cool mix of both that you seek, you’re sure to find it when you stay at Anchored Down!
