Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Please contact our office for more details.

Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Dry entry through the carport puts you on the first level. The spacious den area features a kitchenette with wet bar, microwave and full size refrigerator, perfect for keeping your poolside treats nice and cool. This comfortably furnished space also includes a Smart TV and a pub style table for two. The slider door provides direct access to the pool area and hot tub. Also on this level, a bunk bedroom shares a semi-private bathroom with a bedroom with two single beds. Each bedroom has a TV. A half bathroom completes this level.
Four bedrooms, each with TV, are on the second level. Two queen bedrooms, one an en suite, open onto the east shaded deck with porch swing. A king en suite bedroom with custom tiled shower opens onto the west shaded deck, along with a pyramid bunk bedroom which shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with the second queen bedroom. The laundry area completes this level.
An additional king en suite bedroom with TV is on the third floor and opens onto the sundeck with views of the ocean horizon, where you can enjoy a stunning sunrise as you sip your morning coffee The expansive open living, dining, and well equipped kitchen area with cathedral ceilings, features breakfast bar seating, second small dining table, and a fireplace for relaxing on cool off-season evenings and watching your favorite movie or shows on the Smart TV also with DirecTV programming. A half bathroom is also on this level. Enjoy a picnic on the screened porch, or head to the soundside sundeck, the perfect resting place for a breathtaking sunset view.
When you’re ready to get your toes in the sand, the community sand path to the beach is at the front of the house. Just over the dune is a fun-filled day of swimming, surfing, and building sandcastles. If sticking closer to home is more your style, take a dip in the private pool or enjoy a soak in the hot tub under the stars.
Take a short drive to the Rodanthe Pier for fishing or sight-seeing, and with shops and restaurants nearby everyone will be well entertained.
No matter how you prefer to soak up the rays, A Bit of Sunshine is sure to be your home away from home, year after year.
