Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

The ground level includes a furnished under-house sitting area, perfect for taking in the ocean breeze from this shaded space. There is a queen bedroom and a half bath that has its own separate entrance off this under-house space. Treat yourself to some relaxation in the hot tub, which is also located on an elevated deck in this covered area.
The ground level game room with ping pong table and TV is accessible from inside stairs, as well as a king bedroom and a full bath.
Upstairs on the second level includes the spacious living dining and kitchen with an island provides ample seating and to bring everyone together. An adjoining wet bar with a beverage cooler and bar sink will keep your favorite beverages handy and chilled. Three more master bedrooms each with a TV; 2 king rooms and a bedroom with two single beds are also on this level. Step out to a furnished screened porch with ocean views, the perfect place to relax anytime. From there take the stairs up to the sundeck with panoramic views of the ocean.
When you are ready to hit the beach, you’ll have your toes in the sand in no time with convenient beach access just across the street. Ride the waves or cast your line directly into the surf. After the beach, refresh yourself in one of the two outdoor showers.
With shopping, dining, and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse a quick drive or bike ride from your front door, you are ideally situated for any island adventure. Black Box is the perfect place for your next getaway.
