Situated on a large, soundfront lot in the Mirlo Beach subdivision, you can’t ask for a better home base for all your kiting, windsurfing, and kayaking adventures.

Enter on the ground level, where the game room with pool table will provide hours of fun for the whole family. A full-size refrigerator serves all your snacking needs for game time or days on the water. A half bath completes this level.

Sleep easy in the five bedrooms on the middle level, each with TV and DVD player. Two queen bedrooms, one a master and the other with semi-private bath, as well as a master bedroom with two single beds, offer sound views and open onto the wide, wraparound shaded deck with stairs to the ground and the upper deck. Two additional bedrooms, each with two single beds, and full bath off the hall are also on this level, along with the convenient laundry room. Watch the sun sink into the water from the bubbly hot tub on the shaded deck, the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day.

With water views from every room, the upper level is filled with natural light. Rest your mind in the large king master bedroom with TV and deck access on the upper level, which features a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub in the private bath. Stunning sound views in the open living, dining, and kitchen area will take your breath away. The kitchen features dual wall ovens, ample counter space, and a freestanding ice maker so family meals will be a cinch. Gather for feasts around the dining table with adjacent breakfast bar, or enjoy a more intimate dining experience in the sunroom. A half bath is situated off the comfortably furnished living area. Feast your eyes on ocean-to-sound views from the wide sundeck, where you can sit back with a cool drink in the refreshing breeze.

Rig up your gear on the large, grassy lawn, and spend your days catching the wind on the Pamlico Sound. Launch your kayak or paddleboard from the private dock with stairs to the water’s edge, or explore the shallows with your kids, letting them watch shorebirds, hermit crabs, and minnows up close. Work on your backhand at the community tennis courts, or stroll to the oceanfront via the community beach access nearby. From the scenic Pea Island Wildlife Refuge, to the history Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station, as well as equipment rentals, shopping, and dining, there is plenty to do nearby to keep everyone entertained.
