Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Description
You’ll be anything but crabby after a relaxing stay in Blue Crab Cottage! This colorfully decorated home on the oceanfront in Hatteras will chase your blues away. With seven bedrooms to choose from – each with TV and five with spectacular ocean views – there’s space for everyone in this comfortable cottage.
The ground level has a den with TV and plenty of seating, including a queen sleep sofa to gather around a favorite movie. A full bathroom with shower stall and a laundry area are also on this level.
Sleep in peace on the middle level, where three king bedrooms, one an en suite, each have sliders to the shaded ocean view deck where you can relax to the music of the waves in the bubbly hot tub. A bedroom with a bunk set and a double bed shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with shower stall with a bedroom with two bunk sets and a trundle. An additional full bathroom with shower stall is also on this level.
Two queen en suites bedrooms, one with a shower stall in the private bath, are on the upper level, along with an open kitchen, living, and dining area. Soak up ocean views that simply can’t be beat. Plenty of seating around the large dining table and at the bar means everyone can get in on your Carolina seafood feast of fish, shrimp, and the tasty local blue crabs that give the home its name. A dry bar with wine cooler is idea for preparing refreshing beverages to enjoy with your feast. Spend some quiet time in the loft, with its own private oceanfront sundeck, or watch the big game on the living room TV with the whole family. The spacious furnished sun deck offers views over the dune that will take your breath away.
Enjoy the short stroll to the beach via the wooden walkway. Spend your days lounging in the sun, splashing in the water, learning to surf, or reeling in the catch of the day! Nearby boutiques, restaurants, and activities will keep the fun coming throughout your vacation. There’s never a dull moment at Blue Crab Cottage!
