Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
You’ll never want to leave Captain’s Watch, a custom-built home in Hatteras Village, conveniently situated in an exclusive neighborhood just moments from the island’s hottest happenings and most delicious eateries!
Find immediate escape on the ground level with a spacious king room. A full bath is a welcome benefit for lower level living. Convenient for a grocery run or packing and unpacking, an elevator servicing all levels is just across the hall.
Head up to the second floor where you’ll be hard pressed to leave the excitement in the game room, fully equipped with a pool table, sitting bar and couch for observing the competition. A unique octagonal bedroom is reminiscent of a fairy tale with wood beam ceilings, a king bed and access to a shaded deck. All bedrooms throughout the home boast their own TV. A king en suite provides access to the shaded deck with ocean views. Meanwhile, another en suite, complete with a pyramid bunk and bunk set with a trundle, provides entrance to an enclosed sunroom with six-person hot tub. A laundry nook completes this level.
The top living level keeps the dream alive with luxe furnishings and attentive details. Rest easy in the king en suite, beautifully decorated with the traveler in mind. Another octagonal space features a den with TV and intricate ceiling work and is lightly perched just off the living room, with functional French doors for exclusive viewings. Another TV in the living area means no person has to sacrifice their viewing time, while a wetbar and sitting bar make happy hour a cinch. Adjacent to the half bath and dining area is a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, perfect for added seating or just catching up with the family chefs. Head out to the sundeck for your daily dose of vitamin D as you take in the surrounding views. When the stars begin to shine this will be your favorite seat in the house.
Captain’s Watch is just next door to the community pool and a short walk to the community beach access, so no matter the temperature you’re never too far from cooling off. Hop on the village sidewalks for a healthy stroll around the village loop and rent a golf cart for an easy trip to shops, restaurants and a variety of marinas where you can book a day on the water or just watch the boats come in with their catch. With so many things to see and do in Hatteras Village, you’ll want to make Captain’s Watch the backdrop to your family’s vacation again and again!
