Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 10, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 28, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Welcome to Carolina Calling, the perfect place to kick back, relax, and leave the world behind. This lovingly maintained home just three lots back from the oceanfront provides ocean views from two levels and the beach is just a short walk to the end of the street.
The ground level provides plenty of covered space to store your gear. From here take a few steps up for entry into the home through the game room, which features a pool table, wet bar with mini fridge, freestanding ice maker and TV. The laundry room and half bath are also on this level. A slider door opens to the covered deck with convenient outside showers and is also where the bubbly hot tub is located. Stairs down to the sunny private pool (with available heat) and a spacious poolside furnished patio area will provide relaxation and fun for all ages.
The second level features the main entry on the front of the home and spacious decks (with stairs down to the ground) that wrap-around 3 sides providing both sun and shade on this comfortably furnished outdoor space. Off the foyer is a central hallway and three bedrooms. At one end of the hall is a king en suite with private bathroom, while at the other end of the hall a king bedroom shares a full bathroom with a bedroom with two singles. The two king rooms on this level each have access out to the sun deck that overlooks the pool. The bunk room has access to the covered deck on the front side. All bedrooms have a TV.
Enjoy ocean views and plentiful natural light throughout the open living, dining, and kitchen area on the upper level. Ample seating around the dining table, breakfast bar, provide plenty of space for family feasts from the well-equipped kitchen. The comfortable living area opens to the spacious sundeck to see and hear the sights and sounds of the ocean, stargaze by night, or sip your coffee to a stunning sunrise. Off the kitchen are two additional bedrooms; a king men suite with private bathroom, and a queen room that shares the hallway bathroom.
Cast your line in the surf or head to the nearby Rodanthe Fishing Pier to reel in the catch of the day, then cook it up on the charcoal grill right outside the house. Spend your days lounging in the sun at the beach, or head out for adventure.
