Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 26, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Description
Carolina Kids welcomes you and your family to this well cared for and well-appointed home with the perfect location in the Hatteras Colony neighborhood in Avon and just a short walk to the beach. Dogs are also welcome so everyone can join in the vacation fun. All features and amenities have been designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, from the gathering areas for family time (Living area has a Smart TV) to the 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with Smart TV, to give everyone their own space, and a private salt water, in-ground swimming pool surrounded by a spacious furnished patio area.
The ground level has ample parking and a large yard perfect for lawn games and fetch with the pups. The furnished under-house area will be a favorite shaded gathering space plus room to store your gear. Also featured is a full-service Tiki Bar with refrigerator to keep beverages chilled and poolside treats handy, and access to the pool is just through the gate! In addition, a picnic table, lockable storage (with various beach gear including an umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and a beach cart), and convenient outside shower is also located in this area.
Take the stairs up for entry into the home on the first level where all four bedrooms are located and include 2 queen bedrooms that share a Jack-and-Jill full bathroom. The remaining queen bedroom and the bedroom with 2 singles beds share the bathroom off the hall. The laundry is located on the first stair landing.
Come together on the second level in the spacious open living, dining and kitchen areas. This well-equipped kitchen has granite countertops, a breakfast bar with seating, and adjacent dining table that seats 8. Off to the side is a nook with a Multicade 60 game arcade console that will provide fun for all ages. Step out to the furnished deck and enjoy amazing sunset views from the hot tub.
For some quiet time take the spiral stairs off the living area up to the cozy tower loft with wrap-around deck and views from ocean to sound, the perfect perch to watch the sun rise in the morning and star gazing at night.
Beach access is just a short walk to the community sand path at the end of the street, so you can have your toes in the sand in just minutes. Area shopping, dining, groceries, an ice cream shop, and more are just a short walk or drive, so you never have to venture far to find fun for the whole family.
Carolina Kids is ideally located no matter what Hatteras Island experience you seek and will become your home away from home year after year.
