These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025. Pool heat can be added for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Look no further than Carolina Moon for your next Hatteras Island vacation home. Located in the La Waves oceanside neighborhood in Waves and has everything you need for a fun-filled family getaway. From the moment you arrive, your stay will be carefree with a cargo lift to the top level for easy move-in. All bedrooms throughout the house have TVs, so everyone has their own space.
Enter into the first level foyer with stairs down to the ground level game room complete with pool table a full size refrigerator and TV. Also on this level is a bunk room with a pyramid bunk and 1 bunk set and TV and shares a bathroom with shower stall off the game room.
On the first level are four bedrooms each with TV and include a king en suite with a double vanity sinks in the private bathroom and a slider door that opens to a private covered deck. The queen en suite at the end of the hall has a door that opens to the spacious covered deck that wraps around three sides of this level. A bunk room and a queen bedroom also have access to the covered deck and share the full hall bathroom. The laundry room completes this level.
Upstairs is another king en suite bedroom with TV and access to the private oceanview sundeck and a shower stall and dual vanity sinks in the bathroom. Cooking for a crowd is easy in the well equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops and ample prep space plus breakfast bar seating. Spend time together in the comfortably furnished living area with gas fireplace. Soak up the sun and feel the breeze from the spacious furnished sun deck with ocean and sound views. Retreat to the cozy loft with a good book or to enjoy some some quiet time. A half bathroom is located on the stair landing to this level.
Take a dip in the private pool with available pool heat, and the expansive elevated sun deck with a covered gathering space is sure to be your favorite outside entertainment area. Soak in the hot tub for a truly relaxing experience. The spacious poolside patio has an adjoining under-house covered area with room to store your gear, and an outside shower.
When you are ready for sun, surf, and seashells the community beach access path is a short walk at the end of the cul-de-sac of this ideally situated home. From dining to shopping, the area grocery store, to equipment rentals, all your vacation needs for the whole family are just a quick drive away. Feel like getting a little fishing in?
