Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - All Seasons
Sheets and towels are provided for all full week stays. Beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Up on the first floor, you’ll be blown away by the open kitchen, dining and living areas with wall-to-wall windows and sliders, each providing stunning views of the sound. A custom kitchen offers beautiful wood cabinets with glass accents and granite countertops. A prep island with seating as well as a breakfast bar provide easy spaces to grab a quick bite or to share a cup of coffee while making plans for you day on the island. An adjacent dining area delivers ample seating for a homecooked meal of your daily catch, and when everyone is tuckered out after a fun day on the water, the living area will provide a welcome retreat for tired bodies to rest and relax around the TV. For the one needing a little bit of office space while away, a nearby den with a desk and couch creates a quiet space to get some work done. Access to the wraparound deck with sprawling views is an added perk from every room, while a convenient half bath completes this level.
Up the stairs on the second floor, the remaining three bedrooms await. The spacious king and queen en suites both offer tub/shower combos and wall-mounted TVs for easy viewing. The final queen bedroom, also providing its own TV, shares a full bath with a tub/shower combo with the floor. Across the hall, an expansive laundry room with a full-size utility sink and folding station atop custom cabinetry makes washing out sandy suits a breeze.
The third-floor crow’s nest boasts a card table, bar sink and unmatched views of the sound. A quiet getaway, make this space your own with a fun board game, your latest page-turner, or a cocktail with friends.
Outside adventures await with the Pamlico Sound right at your back door. Try your hand at fishing, crabbing, and clamming, or take a quick drive to the beach for a full day of fun in the sun.
