Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

You’ll fall in love with Comfortably Numb, a beautiful gem on the soundside in the exclusive upscale Wind Over Waves neighborhood in Salvo. This spacious getaway has been thoughtfully designed with comforts and conveniences inside and out, from top to bottom the whole family will enjoy. Featuring 7 bedrooms each with TV, 6 full bathrooms, an elevator that serves all levels, hardwood floors, tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings and many other extras make this vacation home extra special. From the spacious furnished decks, you can relax and enjoy the views of the Pamlico Sound and the amazing sunsets each evening.
Enter into the ground level from the carport. This game room space is complete with pool table, wet bar and full size refrigerator, as well as a home theater setup with surround sound. Step outside to the covered deck for easy access to the private pool and hot tub. Off the game room is a full bathroom shared by a bedroom with a double bunk set and a bedroom with two single beds. The laundry area completes this level.
Four welcoming bedrooms are comfortably situated on the second floor for a peaceful night's rest. Here you will find a king en suite with deck access and three queen en suites, two of which also provide private access to the shaded deck overlooking the private pool. A den with comfort seating and TV is centrally located for an additional gathering space with loved ones or cozying up with a good book.
The top level boasts a spacious open design with living, dining area and well appointed kitchen with breakfast bar seating, stainless appliances, ample counterspace and dual dishwashers will all make meal prep and clean up easy. Step out to the furnished sun deck with sound views. Off the living area is a half bath and a king ensuite bedroom with deck access and a private bathroom with tiled shower.
As comfortable as you will feel inside the house the outside activities must not be missed. Take it easy around the private pool and hot tub, plus a pool side bar, as well as a basketball goal, horseshoe pits, and volleyball net.
Just down the quiet street is a community boat ramp and boardwalk for sound access and launch for your favorite watersport activities, perfect for kiteboarding, windsurfing, stand up paddle and kayaking.
