Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 10, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 28, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Dry entry from the carport opens onto the game room with foosball table and wet bar with microwave and full-size refrigerator, as well as an icemaker to keep your cooler well-stocked. A bedroom with two double beds and a full bathroom with shower stall are off the game room, as well as access to a covered deck with relaxing hot tub. The laundry area is also on this level.
On the second level, the central foyer opens to a covered entry deck with stairs down to the ground. Off one side of the foyer are a king en suite bedroom with access to a large, private covered deck overlooking the pool area and a queen en suite bedroom. Across the foyer, a second queen bedroom and a bedroom with two bunk sets share a full bathroom off the hall. All four bedrooms on this level have TVs.
The spacious living area on the third level features dual seating areas with plenty of gathering space for the whole family while giving everyone enough elbow room to be comfortable. Open to the living area, the kitchen boasts a breakfast bar and ample counter space. Gather for family feasts in the adjacent formal dining area or soak up some rays on the wraparound sundeck. A half bathroom completes this level.
Retreat to the comfortable loft for a little quiet time. The sun deck offers panoramic views of the south end of Hatteras Village and is the perfect place to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
Take a dip in the private pool with available heat or head to the nearby beach, accessed at the end of the neighboring dead end street. 4X4 beach access is a few minutes away just past the entrance to the ferry dock. Hatteras Landing and Teach’s Lair Marinas are both within easy walking or biking distance, as well as the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, several art galleries, shopping, and fine dining.
