Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Embrace all of life’s blessings when you choose Family Tides Buxton as your family’s vacation destination!
Entry on the first level will deliver you to three of the home’s four bedrooms. While all three rooms have their own access to the wraparound shaded deck, a queen en suite features an enclosed shower, and a room with a double bunk set offers its own entrance to the bath shared with the hall. The final room on the floor is a queen room. A laundry area completes the level.
Upstairs, abounding views are accentuated by tall, angular ceilings creating an open and airy space for all to gather. A freshly remodeled kitchen boasts custom painted cabinetry, stone tops, and stainless appliances. The breakfast bar is adjacent to the ample dining table for overflow seating if needed. After dinner, toast to a day of fun at the beach on the screened porch or sundeck with incredible views of the Buxton oceanfront. Enjoy an evening of family fun in the lofted area with a sizeable game table. Cards and board games will have an additional layer of excitement as you have the added views of the ocean and island skies all around you. Wind down with a little extra quality time around the TV before settling in for a peaceful night’s rest. The king en suite, a perfect place to lay your head, has access to the sundeck as well as a cozy jacuzzi tub for a soothing soak.
Outside, your pups will love the immediate access to the wide-open beaches of Hatteras Island. With miles of scenic seashore to stretch their legs, there will be no shortage of family volunteers to walk the dogs. Centrally located in the heartbeat of Buxton, you're close to more than just the beach, with eateries, shops, and galleries all nearby. Attractions are also within easy reach as you can walk the beach or bike down Highway 12 to hit up the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and with an ORV permit you can even take the designated ramps for a day of fishing at the famous Cape Point!
