Flexible Stays - Seasonal
Allows a minimum of 3-night stays, taken up to 300 days in advance for arrivals from Jan 1st to mid-May and from mid-September to December 31st.
Pets Permitted
These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Please contact our office for more details.
Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.
Community Pool
Midgett Realty cannot be held responsible for the opening and closing of subdivision and community pools.
Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).
Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Rejuvenate your spirit at this delightful soundside home in the desirable Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood of Avon. Situated on the shores of a scenic lake filled with native wildlife, Flossie's Folly has everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Let the kids enjoy their own hangout spot in the ground-level den, accessed via its own entry under the house. This quiet space with a TV and full-size futon is perfect for afternoon naps or lounging with a good book. A half bathroom is off the den.

The main entry to the house is on the middle level, where four comfortable bedrooms await. Two queen bedrooms, each with TV and in-room Jacuzzi tub, open onto the wraparound shaded deck and share a Jack-and-Jill bath with shower stall. Two additional bedrooms share a full bathroom off the hall.

Spend some quality time with family in the open living and dining area with adjacent kitchen on the top floor. Built-in window seating, dual dining areas, and a breakfast bar provide plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The king bedroom with TV and private sundeck opens onto a semi-private bath with Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy al fresco dining on the screened porch, or soak up some rays on the sundeck or rooftop crow’s nest deck, which offers panoramic views from the ocean to the sound. All TVs are Smart devices.

Kick back by the private pool or soak in the bubbly hot tub, the perfect way to end a busy day of vacation fun. Complementary access to the nearby Kinnakeet Shores Community Pool and Tennis Courts is also provided with your stay. Community ocean and sound access are a short walk or bike ride away, as well as shops, restaurants, and other fun family activities sure to keep everyone entertained.
