  • Private Pool

    Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.
  • Hot Tub

    These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).
  • Gold - All Seasons

    Sheets and towels are provided for all full and partial week stays. Beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Revive yourself at Hatteras Dunes. This beautiful oceanfront home is full of updates while still retaining its island-style charm with original cypress interior walls upstairs and traditional reverse floorplan.

Relax in the first floor entertainment room with 55-inch flat panel TV and home theater system, plus a wet bar, microwave, and full-size fridge for poolside treats and midnight snacks. Off this area is a bedroom with two bunk sets and TV, as well as a comfortable den with two single beds and TV, the perfect place to read a book or take a nap. A full bathroom is also on this level. Step out onto the shaded dune-view deck to take in the breeze and also for easy ground level access to the pool area.

The second floor has three en suite bedrooms with shower stalls in the bathrooms. A king and a queen each have access to the shaded deck. An additional king en suite bedroom is also on this level, as well as the laundry area. All bedrooms have TVs.

Upstairs is the open living, dining, and kitchen area, where ocean views abound. A half bathroom is also conveniently located on this level. Step out onto the oceanview sundeck to listen to the waves roll onto the beach or soak in the hot tub under the stars at night.

Cool off in the private pool, accessible from all three decks. From the pool area a private boardwalk over the dunes will have you surfing, swimming, and surf-fishing in minutes. Take a charter fishing trip from the nearby marinas, enjoy some of the best dining the island has to offer, or find that perfect souvenir at a local shop, all within a few minutes’ drive from your front door. Hatteras Dunes has something for everyone.

Additional entertainment choices include over 350 books, over 150 DVDs, and over 40 board games and puzzles.
