These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Four cozy bedrooms come together to provide a peaceful night’s rest after exhilarating days of island-filled fun. On the first floor, take your choice between the king en suite, a king room, and a room with a bunk set with trundle. A full bath is centrally located for convenience. The final bedroom, a queen room, is on the second level, sharing a full bath with the floor. All bedrooms provide their own Smart TV so everyone can relax with screen time.
Shared spaces are built with the family in mind, and with 2 dogs permitted, the whole family can enjoy them together. The eclectically outfitted kitchen is open to the dining and living area so conversation and meals can be shared by all. With a screened porch and sundeck, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenic view of the ocean or the famously darkened island skies, perfect for stargazing.
Outside, the 12 x 24’ private saltwater pool is complimented by the bubbly hot tub, creating the ultimate on-property vacation experience. Only one lot back from the ocean, the beach is just a hop, skip, and a jump away as well, so days in the sun are as salty as you please. An outdoor shower is provided so washing sandy suits is a snap before heading back in. When you’re ready to venture out, Hatteras Island’s best eateries, shops, and attractions are all within a quick drive or bike ride.
