Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Entertainment abounds on the first level, where the large game room will provide hours of friendly competition. Shoot some pool, beat the high score on the arcade console with 60 games, or just relax and watch your favorite show on the Smart TV. A wet bar with microwave and full-size refrigerator will keep your midnight snacks and pool or beach treats close at hand. Two shaded decks, one with bubbly hot tub, provide ample space to kick back and relax in the refreshing breeze. Sleep easy in the queen en suite bedroom on this level. A half bathroom and the large laundry area are also on this level.
Four additional bedrooms are on the middle level. Two king en suite bedrooms (each with TV) are on one side of the hall. Across the hall, a bedroom with two bunk sets and TV, and a bedroom with two single beds (with Smart TV) share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Two shaded decks are off either end of the hallway, providing ocean and sound views.
Spend some quality time in the open living room with Smart TV, dining, and kitchen area with breakfast bar on the top floor. Feast your eyes on ocean-to-sound views for breathtaking sunrises and stunning sunsets from dual sundecks. The chef in the family will have all the essentials to prepare meals in the recently remodeled kitchen, well equipped with a variety of cookware options including a crock pot and griddle. In addition, there are dual electric ranges, a second dining area with a wet bar and 2nd dishwasher will help make clean up a cinch, and mini-refrigerator perfect for keeping your beverages handy and chilled. A king en suite bedroom with Smart TV and private bathroom and deck access is off the living area, as well as an additional half bathroom.
Lounge by the private pool with a good book or take a dip to cool off. Enjoy a short walk to the beach via the sand path directly across the street, or head to the end of the shared driveway for access to the Pamlico Sound. Ride the wind on your kiteboarding or windsurfing gear or just paddle your kayak around to explore scenic wetlands. After a day of fun take a rinse off in the outside shower.
With shopping, dining, and other family entertainment just a short drive or bike ride away, you are ideally located for any island adventure you seek when you book your stay at Hit the Beach.
