Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 14, 2026, and before September 4, 2026, sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

The first floor offers a restful retreat with three of the home’s four bedrooms, each with its own TV and direct access to the shaded wraparound deck with hot tub. A pyramid bunk room and king bedroom share a full bath with the floor, while the queen en suite enjoys the added privacy of its own bath. Whether stepping outside to unwind or settling in for a quiet evening, everyone has a comfortable space to call their own. A centrally located laundry room rounds out this level for added convenience throughout your stay.
The second floor begins with the home’s fourth and final bedroom, a king en suite featuring a private bath with a jetted tub and access to the sundeck. The remainder of this level opens into a spacious gathering area, where the kitchen with breakfast bar flows easily into the dining and living areas for meals and time spent together. Dual sundecks off the dining and living areas invite you to take the relaxation outdoors, showcasing scenic views of the Pamlico Sound and plenty of opportunities to savor the island’s surroundings.
Outside, Jolly Mon makes it easy to enjoy the best of both sides of the island. Community beach access is just a short walk away, while a nearby crosswalk leads across Highway 12 to Hatteras Island Ocean Center’s free public sound access, a convenient launch point for kayaks and paddleboards. Back at the house, cool off in the private pool or settle into the bubbly hot tub for a relaxing soak. An enclosed outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, and gas grill are ready for days spent on the water, while picnic table seating beneath the carport offers a quick spot to gather for a snack in the shade.
