These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Sheets will be left on the beds for you. No towels are provided. Upgrades to the linen package can be made after booking via phone or through our app.

Boat Dock
We offer homes with both shallow water and deep water docks. We can also arrange dockage in a local marina. Please call our reservation department at 1-800-527-2903 to find the best fit for your boat.

The ground level of this home offers an under-house carport area for parking and space to store your beach and fishing gear. The cargo lift and a few steps up to the covered entry deck will make move in a breeze. Inside on the ground level is a cozy den with TV, one bedroom with a bunk set with single trundle underneath, and a full bath off the hallway.
The second level has three bedrooms (all with TVs) and includes 1 king en suite and 2 queen en suites with access to covered deck space off each end of the hallway. The bubbly hot tub on this level will hit the spot when you’re looking to soothe your cares away. Steps down from this deck to the ground provide convenient access to the private pool. The laundry room rounds out this level.
The top level features room for everyone to gather in the open living, dining, and kitchen area. Enjoy family meals around the dining table and adjacent breakfast bar and plan your next day’s adventure. Cozy up in front of the electric fireplace on cool off-season evenings or for a little quiet time take just a few steps up to the loft; a perfect nook with a desk and comfy chair for reading your favorite book. Two slider doors provide convenient access to the canal front deck where stunning marsh, water and distant sound views will wow you. This partially covered deck is the perfect perch for catching a magnificent sunset and star gazing at twilight. A half bath completes this level.
The canal just steps from the door has direct access to the shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound. The private dock with a boarding ladder provides tie up for your boat or launch area for your kayak or SUP boards for outdoor adventures on the water. Spend time fishing, clamming, and crabbing and bring home the catch of the day for delectable seafood feasts.

Note - Boat lift is not available for guest use, owner may leave his boat on the lift or under the house. For safety reasons, please do not board the boat. The cargo lift has a locked safety gate on each level; please lift your supplies over this gate. Do not attempt to remove the locks or circumvent these safety measures.
