Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
If we know anything it’s that OBX Dayz are the best days! Centrally located on Hatteras Island, you’re never too far from the island’s greatest adventures.
Enter on the ground level where hours of fun are in store in the game room featuring a pool table, TV, and access to the shaded deck with hot tub. Sharing a bathroom with the only bedroom on this level, a king room also permits access to the shaded deck with hot tub. All bedrooms throughout the home provide their own TV for easy screening. Immediate access to the pool is also on this level.
The second floor hosts the main living level with four more bedrooms, a laundry room and full bath. Two king ensuites boast access to a shared shaded deck, perfect for a quiet read or easy meditation to clear the mind. Another king bedroom has its own private shaded deck overlooking the pool, while the bunkroom has its own neighboring private deck as well.
The magic comes alive on the top floor where an open floorplan provides a steady rotation of family fun in the open living, dining, and kitchen areas. The final king en suite allows a space for writing letters to loved ones back home of your lovely time at the beach, while access to the shared sundeck will provide a welcome view for your morning coffee, or a lovely evening escape for a shared bottle of wine with family and friends. A convenient half bath completes this level.
Bask in the island sun for hours as you splash around in the private pool. Bike over to the community sound access and explore crabbing, clamming, and fishing or take a stroll to the beach to enjoy one of the island’s most enticing attractions. Endless vacation experiences await on the horizon with a variety of island eateries and shops nearby. A quick drive to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse or the maritime forest mean adventure is never too far from hand. However you choose to fill them, your OBX Dayz will be days to remember!
