Sheets and towels are provided for all full and partial week stays. Beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Centrally located in the heart of Hatteras Island, this 5 bedroom, 3 bath home is the optimal beach vacation destination. Allowing up to two dogs, this pet-friendly oasis just one lot back from the ocean and directly across from the beach access. This home in Avon is a place the entire family can come to kick back, relax, and have some Reel Fun!
The dry entry from the carport makes check-in and grocery runs a breeze no matter the weather. Lower-level guest storage is an added convenience for luggage or beach gear.
Up on the first living level, four bedrooms divide the floor into quarters with a hallway down the middle. On one side, a room with two XL singles is adjoined with a queen bedroom by a Jack & Jill bath with a walk-in shower. Across the hall, another queen room is comfortably perched. Both queen bedrooms offer their own private entrance to the ocean-facing shaded deck that also provides access to all levels. The final bedroom on this level features two XL singles and shares a full bath with a tub/shower combo with the hall. A laundry area is centrally located between all rooms, completing the level.
Upstairs, the last queen bedroom is conveniently situated next door to the final full bath which hosts a tub/shower combo. Both are quietly tucked in a secluded corridor off the living room with an added privacy door for optimal relaxation. The remainder of the floor is an open floor plan that offers plenty of room to gather. A well laid-out kitchen has sufficient space for creating family favorites that all can enjoy in the nearby dining area or screened porch should you choose to dine alfresco. The expansive living area boasts lots of seating options for easy conversation, as well as a built-in bar with a nearby 35 lb. ice maker. No need to buy ice for your coolers every day before heading to the beach! Outside, dual sundecks flank the screened porch, one of which provides entrance to the crow’s nest with spectacular views of the oceanfront.
When you’re ready to hit the beach, hop on any of the community paths across the street to post up at your location of choice. Beach drivers will also be happy that designated ORV Routes are only about a mile away from your front door. Neighborhood conveniences are all well within reach as the island’s largest grocery store is just across Highway 12 and a variety of other shops, eateries, and nightlife and entertainment venues are also within close proximity.
