These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Description
Enter through the side door into the well-equipped kitchen, complete with TV and breakfast bar. Ample seating at dual dining tables provides plenty of room for family feasts. Gather in the living area, which opens onto the partly covered wraparound deck with horizon ocean views. An additional sundeck is of the kitchen, with stairs to the ground where the laundry room with plenty of storage space is accessed via a separate entry.
An en suite bedroom with a pyramid bunk (with trundle) and TV is off one side of the living area, with shower stall in the private bathroom. Off the other side of the living area, a queen bedroom opens onto the deck and has a semi-private bathroom with shower stall. The hot tub is located on this lower ocean facing deck off the living area.
Take the spiral staircase to the balcony overlooking the living area for access to two additional en suite bedrooms, both with TV. The queen bedroom has an adjoining door to the king bedroom. The king bedroom features an in-room Jacuzzi tub and opens onto a partially shaded deck with stunning ocean views and access to the rooftop crow's nest, where panoramic views of the ocean and over the village of Avon provide breathtaking sights from sunrise to sunset.
Stroll to the beach via the sandy path directly behind the home and let the waves wash your cares away in no time at all. If off-roading is more your style, 4x4 beach access is less than a mile away, along with off-road soundside access. Explore nearby shops, restaurants, and other fun family activities, all an easy walk or bike ride along the paved pathway through Avon, and even more within a few minutes; drive. Sand Dancer is the ideal base for your next Hatteras Island adventure.
