Flexible Stays - Seasonal

Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.
Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Bring the whole family together at Sandy Bunns. This spacious 5-bedroom oceanfront home is located in the exclusive Hatteras by the Sea sub-division in Hatteras Village and is equipped with an elevator to three levels. Enjoy the serenity of its location nestled in the dune, yet ocean front with easy beach access just outside the door.

The ground level under house area provides space to store your gear. Take a few steps up for access to the elevator, (this ground level is currently not handicap friendly) yet will help make move in a breeze.

The main entry is on the second level where 4 comfortable bedrooms are located. A king en suite, a California king en suite. A king bedroom and a bedroom with a double-over-double bunk set share a full bathroom off the hall. A media room off the wide hall, elevator access, and laundry are also located on this level. All bedrooms have TVs. The shaded, furnished ocean view deck on this level is perfect for enjoying the afternoon breeze, or for the ultimate relaxation take a soak in the hot tub. There are also stairs up to the second level sundeck above.

Gaze over the ocean from the open living and dining area on the second level with cathedral ceilings and windows along the oceanfront wall. A wide furnished sundeck is the perfect vantage point to look for dolphins playing in the surf or enjoy stargazing at night. The adjoining kitchen is well equipped and has a center island so prepping, cooking and cleaning up for your hungry crew will be done with ease. Enjoy your morning coffee in the breakfast nook with access out to the sundeck. An additional half bathroom completes this level.

Take the stairs or elevator up one more level to the loft king en suite with walk-in closets, desk space and a small private oceanview deck. The spacious bathroom features double vanity sinks, a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

Use the boardwalk ramp just steps from the ground level door for easy beach access and you will have your toes in the sand in no time. When you are ready for some pool time the unique Sport Pool will provide hours of fun for all ages. A convenient half bath is also accessible from the pool area.

Shopping, fine dining, groceries and fresh local seafood are just minutes away. Visit the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum or take a day trip to Ocracoke Island on the free ferry. With so many amenities included with this home, you will want to make Sandy Bunns your destination for vacation fun.
