Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Sheets will be left on the beds for you. No towels are provided. Upgrades to the linen package can be made after booking via phone or through our app.

Boat Dock
We offer homes with both shallow water and deep water docks. We can also arrange dockage in a local marina. Please call our reservation department at 1-800-527-2903 to find the best fit for your boat.

Sleep soundly on the first level, where all three bedrooms offer access to the shaded soundfront deck with stairs to the ground level. The comfortable king en suite bedroom with TV will lull you into restful slumber. A queen bedroom with TV and a pyramid bunk bedroom share a full bathroom off the hall. The laundry area is also on this level. Step out onto the shaded deck to soak your worries away in the hot tub while you feast your eyes on one of the stunning sunsets Hatteras Island is known for.
Sunlight and sound views abound in the open living, dining, and kitchen area on the second level. Dine al fresco on the screened porch, soak up some rays on the soundfront sundeck, or curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace on cool winter evenings. Complete with breakfast bar and pantry space, the well-supplied kitchen is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. An additional sundeck off the front of the home offers another quiet retreat from the cares of the world. A full bathroom with shower stall is also on this level.
Retreat to the bright and airy loft with TV and step out on yet another sundeck with breathtaking views of the Pamlico Sound. A double futon is perfect for an afternoon siesta or flexible sleeping arrangements.
Strike out for adventure on the water from the private dock behind the home. Launch your kayak or tie up your shallow-draft boat to spend your days fishing, clamming, or wildlife watching minutes from your own door. Family walks and bike rides through the quiet, residential neighborhood will bring everyone closer together as you spend quality time in the island air.
