Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Elevators do not ensure handicap accessibility.

Some of our Hatteras properties include elevators, wheelchair ramps, and bedrooms / living spaces on the main level to help make those with special needs more comfortable.

Sheets Provided: Beds not made, No towels
Sheets will be left on the beds for you. No towels are provided. Upgrades to the linen package can be made after booking via phone or through our app.

Description
The elevator to all floors is accessible from the ground level underneath the house, making move-in a breeze from the moment you arrive. Lockable storage inside the ground level entry will keep your beach and fishing gear ready to go at a moment's notice. And the beach walkway, adjacent to the house, will help get you and your things to the beach with ease.
Four bedrooms with TVs are on the first level as well as a cozy sitting area. Two king en suites with shower stalls in the bathrooms, open directly onto the large shaded deck with ocean views. Another king en suite offers deck access through the bathroom, while the final bedroom on this level has a queen bed and a bunk set, as well as direct access to the shared full bath for this floor. The laundry room is also on this level.
The top-level is designed with entertainment in mind. Spend time together in the open living, dining, and kitchen area with wood floors and a cozy fireplace. The upscale kitchen includes a breakfast bar with a wine cooler. An office area with a built-in desk and a table perfect for board games are right off the living area, while a well-stocked library off the dining area has a daybed with trundle for some reading and relaxation. Soak up some rays on the wide oceanfront sundeck or take in the breeze from the screened porch. An additional full bathroom with shower stall is on this level.
From dual outdoor showers for rinsing the sand off after a day at the beach to the oceanview hot tub on the top floor deck, Ship to Shore is set up for your comfort and convenience. Enjoy the short walk to the beach or spend a day fishing on a charter boat from the nearby marina. Shopping, dining, and the free ferry to Ocracoke are also close at hand, so there is never a dull moment.
