These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Please contact our office for more details.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Description
The ground level provides covered parking and a large yard with direct, private access to the sound so you can easily launch your kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, kiteboards, or any other water toy on your wish list. The access point will also give your fur babies a chance to splash around in the shallow waters and join in on the fun.
If the ocean is more your speed, then you won’t have to look any further than across the street to find one of the most pristine beaches around. Whether you choose the sound or ocean as your form of saltwater therapy, there will be an over-sized outdoor shower waiting to freshen you up for round 2 of your fun-filled day. (Please note, outdoor showers are a valued tradition on Hatteras Island if you prefer to spend more time playing than cleaning.)
Take the stairs up to the main entry deck on the first level. The deck wraps around to the soundfront side of the home with spectacular water views. Inside on this level are four airy bedrooms inviting you to catch up on your beauty rest. All of the bedrooms were recently updated and include a queen en suite bedroom with TV and slider door for direct access out to the sound facing covered deck. Two additional queen bedrooms, each with TVs (one has access out to the covered deck), and a bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunks share the full bath off the hall. The laundry is also located on this level.
The second level features an open design with stunning, panoramic views of the sound. This spacious area includes the kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and living areas and provides room for everyone to gather. And regardless of whose turn it is to cook or clean, everyone can be a part of the conversation.
The comfortable furnishings and decor throughout will make it easy for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the slower ways of island life. For added luxury and relaxation take a soak in the bubbly hot tub on the first level covered deck while watching the glowing sun as it sets into the horizon. And, with decks that wrap around most of the top-level you can experience inspirational sunrises, and spectacular star-gazing first hand -- all with the soothing sounds of the ocean in the background.
