Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 10, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 28, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Vacation in style at Summer Shack, nicely situated on on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Hatteras Colony - Salvo neighborhood with wraparound shade and sundecks, ocean views, 5 bedrooms, private swimming pool with available heat and hot tub, this stylish oceanfront home has everything you need for the relaxing getaway you've been looking for.
With dual carports and storage space for your gear, two outside showers and dry entry into the ground level will make your stay nice and easy from the moment you arrive. Fun awaits in the multi-use ground level game room with foosball table, a classic arcade game console, large smart TV and comfy seating, plus a wet bar with quartz countertop complete with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. A convenient half bath, and the laundry room complete this level. From the game room, there is direct access outside onto the screened-in porch that opens to a deck and steps down to the furnished pool area where you can lounge in the sun by the private in-ground pool or take a soothing soak in the poolside hot tub under the stars. Additional amenities include a charcoal smoker/grill, basketball hoop and fish cleaning table with water.
Four spacious bedrooms are on the second level all with access to the large wrap-around porch; two king en suites with private bathrooms, while the third is a king bedroom has a semi-private bath shared with the bedroom with two bunk sets across the hall.
Spend some quality time in the wide-open living, dining, and kitchen area on the third level with high ceilings and windows that let the natural light into the space. The well-appointed kitchen with quartz countertops, and breakfast bar, ample counter space, and stainless steel appliances will be appreciated by the chef of your group. Step out to the ocean facing sundeck for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. Get a good night's rest in the roomy king en suite that features double vanity sinks, a jacuzzi tub, and separate shower in the private bath, TV, and access to the sundeck. A convenient half bath is also on this level.
The spiral stairs provide access up to the top level loft area to enjoy the ocean view and for some quiet time.
When you’re ready to hit the beach, take an easy stroll via a community sand path from the nearby cul-de-sac that leads over the dunes and you will have your toes in the sand in no time at all. There is shopping, dining, and other great family activities nearby as well.
For rest, relaxation or recreation Summer Shack will become your go-to getaway again and again.
