Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 26, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
Enter on the ground level through the game room that features a complete entertainment area with a wet bar, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, plus the pool table and foosball table, and home theater system with surround sound and a 55" TV. A full bathroom with shower stall is also on this level. Step outside to the covered deck with hot tub and access to the sunny pool area with Tiki bar, where the entire family will have a fun-filled day splashing and cooling off.
The second level has 5 bedrooms. Two king en suite bedrooms boast sound views and access onto the shaded deck. A queen en suite is at one end of the hall with sound and marsh views while at the opposite end of the hall is a bedroom with a pyramid bunk and a bunk set, and a bedroom with two singles that share a full bath with shower stall off the hall. The laundry is also on this level.
The grand third level opens onto a spacious deck with both sun and shade with spectacular sound and sunset views and overlooks a scenic salt marsh, great for bird and wildlife watching. The open living, dining and kitchen with breakfast bar and offers plenty of space with comfortable furnishings and plenty of room to spend quality time together. A king en suite is off the living area with a private bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall and has direct access out to the sun deck. A half bathroom completes this level.
Take a few more steps up to the top level loft with office space and a sitting area for some quiet time with stunning sound and sunset views.
Watersport enthusiasts will appreciate and enjoy the easy walk to the water’s edge of the Pamlico Sound along a grass path and a spacious equipment rigging area. This private launch site is perfectly suited for kiting, windsurfing, stand up paddle boards and kayaking. Or spend your days fishing, clamming, and exploring the shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound. Guests also have complementary access to the Mirlo Beach Community Tennis.
When you are ready to have your toes in the sand, a 5 minute walk via the community boardwalk leads to the Ocean side, while dining, shopping and other fun activities including, equipment rentals, bait and tackle, and fresh seafood are a short drive away.
