Upstairs are two queen bedrooms, both with TV, each with a sitting area. One bedroom has a door to the wide sundeck. The other has a curtain to divide the sitting area into a separate TV room for the kids. A full bathroom is also on this level. Relax to the music of the ocean from the rooftop sundeck while watching the distant beam of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
Enjoy the short stroll to the public beach access at the end of the street. Grab your boogie boards and fishing poles from the lockable guest storage under the house and prepare for a fun-filled day on the shore. Note: In the summer of 2022 the Avon and Buxton oceanfront will receive much needed beach nourishment. The Avon project begins 3,000 feet north of the Avon Pier at Due East Road to the southern boundary of Avon at the National Park Service line—approximately 2.5 miles of oceanfront. The maintenance renourishment for Buxton includes 2.9 miles of shoreline from the Haulover Day Use Area north of Buxton to the oceanfront groin at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. You may experience some temporary construction noise, night illumination, and beach access diversions in the immediate vicinity of this rental for a short duration dependent upon changing project conditions.
