Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Enjoy all of the magic and wonder that Avon has to offer when you frequent Dreamkeeper, a beautiful oceanside home boasting 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and plenty of room to make your vacation one that dreams are made of!
Convenient amenities are readily available as soon as you pull into the driveway. The carport will allow you to securely store your beach gear and unload outside of the elements while a cargo lift at the back of the house helps tote your luggage and groceries to their respective levels. However, should you want to skip all of that and dive right into your vacation, the private pool and bubbly hot tub are right there to help you relax after your travels to the island. Rinse off in the outdoor shower with hot and cold water and utilize the full bath that is conveniently located nearby for dressing or showering.
Enter on the first living level for immediate excitement in the game room loaded with opportunities for family fun. Stock up on your favorite snacks from the wet bar with microwave and undercounter fridge before cozying up around the TV to catch the game or diving into a friendly game of air hockey with loved ones. A king en suite is one end of the game room, while two more rooms, each with two singles, are on the other side and share a full bath with the floor. While a laundry area completes the inside, wraparound shaded decks allow for even more fun outside. Curl up with a good book, try a little outdoor porch yoga with the sounds of the nearby ocean in the background, or soak in the sights with your favorite glass of wine for a relaxing evening ahead.
Plenty of memories will be made on the second floor in the open kitchen, dining, and living areas. Vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light set the tone for delicious meals together and all of the little moments that make your Hatteras Island vacation so special. The final two peaceful bedrooms, both with queen beds, are upstairs as well, sharing the final full bath with the floor. Outside, the sundeck is beaming with light and wonderful views of the natural island beauty that is all around you.
When you’re ready to venture beyond the property, take the quick minute walk to the end of the street to access the wooden boardwalk that will easily deliver you to a sand path that leads to the beach. After full days of fun in the sun and waves, hit the town for plenty of eating, shopping, and entertainment opportunities, all of which are within close proximity to your front door.
