Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available from April 19 to October 12, 2024 unless otherwise noted in the property description.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) can be available from March 22 to October 26, 2024 for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat; check cottage description for dates that heat will be available. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Gold - Seasonal
Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

We offer homes with both shallow water and deep water docks. We can also arrange dockage in a local marina. Please call our reservation department at 1-800-527-2903 to find the best fit for your boat.

Description
Escape the cares of the world at this stunning 5-bedroom home situated on the shores of a scenic canal in Hatteras Village. Set off the beaten path and featuring breathtaking vista views from all four levels, Lookout Point is the relaxing retreat you need.
Easy ground-level entry into the foyer makes move-in a breeze. The ground level covered deck and yard on the back of the house provides room for your tackle, beach gear, and watersports equipment. A king bedroom with TV opens onto a semi-private bath with a step-in shower stall. Head out the back door onto the covered deck to soak in the hot tub while watching a colorful sunset over the Pamlico Sound.
The second level was designed with family time in mind. The open living and dining area and adjacent kitchen boast water views on three sides. Whip up a family feast in the kitchen with gas stove, breakfast bar, and eat-in breakfast table or take in the breeze on either of the large shaded decks. Picnic on the screened porch for a truly island-style meal. A cozy den with single bed and deck access and a half bathroom are also on this level.
Three spacious bedrooms, each with TV, are on the third level. The king en suite bedroom features a walk-in closet and panoramic views of the sound over pristine wetlands teeming with native flora and fauna. An en suite bedroom with a queen and a single bed and a queen bedroom with a semi-private bath are at either end of the hall. The large laundry room with utility sink is also on this level.
Take the final staircase up to the loft-level bedroom with double bed, which features unparalleled 360-degree views from ocean to sound and over the serene village of Hatteras.
Spend your days lounging by the private pool with available heat, or set off in your boat from the dock for fishing, clamming, and crabbing to your heart’s content. All the excitement of Hatteras Village is an easy bike or golf-cart ride away, including shopping, dining, and the sandy beach.
