Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full and partial week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Take a Salty Pause and dive into vacation fun in this beautiful home located in the upscale Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood in Avon!
Enter at the front door and go down the few steps to the first living level. A game room boasts a pool table, TV, wet bar with sink and refrigerator for extra storage and snacks, a full bath, and access to both the front-facing balcony and back-facing sun and shaded deck with steps down to the patio with pool access. Wet suits from the pool are easily transferred to the nearby laundry room thanks to tiled floors. A bedroom with 2 bunksets, TV, and access to the shaded deck is also on this level, perfect for kiddos and young adults.
Three more bedrooms, all of which offer their own TV, reside on the second floor. A king en suite boasts a jacuzzi tub, shower, and double bowls sinks, as well as access to a private balcony. A queen en suite provides access to the shaded deck with hot tub and the bedroom with 2 singles offers entry to the wraparound shaded deck. A full bath and den with TV, comfort seating and entry to the shaded deck with hot tub complete the level.
Top-level living is a dream in the open kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen features custom wood cabinets with polished stone tops while the breakfast bar creates a welcome perch for a quick bite or overflow seating if needed. An enclosed porch off the dining room allows you to choose between indoor or outdoor seating for family meals. The living room and added nook all provide plenty of space to kick up your feet after a long day of island fun or gather around for a good movie. Head out to the sun and shaded decks for expansive views of the neighborhood and Pamlico Sound. Back inside, the final bedroom, a king en suite, is outfitted with a jacuzzi tub, shower, and double bowls sinks, as well as access to a private balcony with outstanding views.
Outside, the private pool will offer hours of entertainment splashing around with friends. For time at the beach, access one of the two ORV ramps at either end of the village or walk across Highway 12 utilizing one of the community paths to a crosswalk. With most conveniences just a quick walk or drive from your front door, you’ll love the expediency of having the island’s largest grocery store nearby and will happily find an abundance of shops, eateries and attractions within close proximity.
